ultra rest "hunter review"

this product works very well and will always be dependable out in a stand in ground blinds or still hunting and even if your a target archer or compete in archery. the first and most important step for "proper" installation is to read all instructions and watch the dvd that comes with the qad rest. I have read many inapprioate reviews and most archers under the age of 25yrs old are the ones with the worst reviews. many complaints of fletching contact, arrow contact, the rest not functioning correctly and from "so called experts" they are recommending archers to stay away from this product.i completely disagree, this is one if not the single best rest to ever hit the market period! for all of you out there saying its not dropping fast enough for high speed bows your down right wrong! I personally shoot 2 new 2013 model bows with both shooting 343plus fps/ibo there is no contact with arrow to rest. this rest is awesome at a low price for those of us on a tight budget.the clamp should be used on downward cable, and must connect a minimum of 3inches below bottom of rest. the lower it is attached the faster the rest drops. remember, the flipper(rest)is okay to make contact with bow shelf. if the noise of contact bothers shooter or hunters use a piece of felt supplied within package of rest, felt will be no issue as far as not having enough clearance. the flipper needs to be set at 80 degrees then right when you hit the valley the rest will draw completely up at 90degrees and stay there until you release the arrow.the rest when let down slowly " in control" will properly return to 80 degrees.super quiet even without provided adhesive backed felt, its absolutely dead silent. there are several instructional videos out there and the 7or8 steps are provided on the qad dvd, they slowly take you through each one. there is also provided a simple trouble shooting pamphlet and dvd by qad if you have an issue, but this is so simple and effective a child could do this! great work QAD!
